Area Information
The Ozarks Region of north central Arkansas and south central Missouri is one of the best kept secrets of the United States. With its beautiful mountains, breathtaking rivers and lakes, and the abundance of wildlife, the Ozarks appeal to recreation enthusiasts. Boating, swimming, fishing, and scuba diving in the crystal clear waters of Bull Shoals Lake and Lake Norfork are exceptional. Table Rock Lake is close by and offers these same great activities. The scenic Buffalo River is federally protected and plays host to thousands of canoeists annually. They come from all over to enjoy the majestic towering bluffs and gorgeous scenery along its banks. You may see an elk if you canoe close to the Elk Refuge in Newton County. For the hunters out there - what more could you ask for? Deer, elk, turkey, bear, squirrels. We have it all! No need to go hungry in the Ozarks!
For the rest who aren't so much into water sports or hunting how about just relaxing while enjoying the splendor of the Ozarks. Spring fed creeks rippling into beautiful waterfalls, mother nature's artful creations of unique rock formations, and the awe inspiring views from magnificent mountaintops. We are truly a photographer's paradise!
